Cinequest Revisited

Yeah, as much as the filmed sucked and needed reshoots -- which we did one month later -- it was kinda fun that night at Cinequest. We had a pretty good response for a very small audience -- and we had the satisfaction of getting into a major North American film festival. It was a fluke we got in but at least we got in.

Even my co-producer congratulated me when we were partying at the nightclub that was welcoming the Cinequest filmmakers that night -- a nice Latin club -- she told me how happy she was I was finally opening up to people and talking to the other filmmakers there!

Well, life is full of surprises, isn't it?
